Kathy's Place in Minnesota

"Warm and inviting place. Went on Monday October 2, 2023 around 8ish a.m. Was greeting upon entry, sat quickly. Ordered food had my coffee by the time i started my 2nd cup food was out. Ordered the French toast with bacon. In addition to order 3 eggs. The meal price was before addition under 10$ before tax Coffee, I don't remember seeing price Eggs were an addition cost of $0.99 ea not great price for addition egg but fair, understand need to get profit margins. Total price is around $15 before tip. Eggs were cooked perfectly French toast was amazing Bacon little more on crunchy side than I would've like, but that would be my own fault for not letting them know when order was taken. I would surely visit again thanks "Kathy's Place" for a great breakfast to start my day off with."

"I love going here for breakfast, the Big Daddy with american fries is always my go to! Bad for my type II diabetes with all the carbs from the american fries, pancake w/syrup, and toast... but so worth the spike! As far as other meals go for the rest of the I am unsure, I only go there for breakfast because its always phenomenal! They don't get busy on the weekends for breakfast so expect to have a little wait for your food to come out, but rest assured it will come out hot and fresh!"

"On a drive home from Minneapolis to Pierre, South Dakota, we stopped for breakfast. I had seen pictures of the breakfast on the website and our meal was as delicious as the pictures looked. Most of all the atmosphere and people made me feel like I was stepping right back into my small hometown that I grew up in in South Dakota! We will definitely stop there whenever we are driving through."

"What a great small town breakfast stop! Seat yourself. Most of the locals sit at the counter area or next to it and play a dice game during the morning. We sat nearby in the extended dining area. Waitress brought a carafe of coffee (bonus points!) ordered a senior plate of eggs, bacon and an English muffin—all cooked well. Paid at the counter. All in all, a good meal and great service!"

"Stopped in on our way thru town. There was a group of 7 of us. The waitress was amazing. The food was delicious. We can't wait to stop again if in the area. Will absolutely recommend!"

"This charming diner has a very comforting small town atmosphere. The food is reasonably priced with decent portion sizes along with friendly staff. Honestly the only criticism I have is that the place was decently busy with only 1 server and I felt bad that the woman was overloaded with guests to take care of. In turn, the service was not the best but understandable given the circumstances. Overall, this wonderful restaurant will definitely be somewhere I will happily eat at again."

"Stopped to have breakfast on the way home from Prairie edge casino. So happy to have stopped here! Both of us extremely enjoyed our meals. Next time we're in the area will definitely be stopping by again. My whole meal was cooked to perfection. Pancakes are awesome."
